Classic Bathtubs offers a full line of professional refinishing and restoration services for vintage tubs, clawfoot tubs, sinks, faucets and accessories. We specialize in custom paint matching and refinishing work done in our state-of-the-art paint facility. We also provide polishing or replating services in a variety of finishes, clawfoot tub foot matching, recasting, sandblasting and even custom foundry and metal fabrication work.

 What is the difference between original, refinished and reproduction merchandise?
Original merchandise, as the name implies, are vintage items that are in original condition and are still fit for use. They may show some signs of wear (i.e., the porcelain on a tub might be a bit dull) or have some minor work done (i.e., new washers inside a vintage faucet). Overall, however, these items are in very good or better condition. Refinished items are those vintage pieces that need a complete overhaul to be made fit for use. The cleaning and painting of a vintage tub is a prime example. Reproduction merchandise (like new clawfoot tubs and faucets) are brand new items that are made to look and work like vintage items.
For how long is your refinished merchandise warranted, and what is covered under the warranty?
We warranty that our refinishing work will not peel, crack, discolor, or craze for a period of ten years provided it is properly cared for. We always provide care and maintenance instructions along with our written warranty with each refinished item we sell.
